What is Portrait Photography?
As we say Photography is an Art that captures the Images of individuals, Couples or group of peoples to preserve a memory. Other Hand Portrait Photography Creates a visual records of Various ages of peoples of Individuals. 


Here are the Some Important things or Elements to do Portrait Photography:



    Background:

In portrait photography background is important  element but not that usually some people think that background should be solid, it cold be any thing like nature, solid, studio, landscape or office setting etc.. 
 Using Design backdrop, one thing Needs to keep in mind that the backdrop shouldn't be very colored that competes the subjects.
Shooting a portrait in natural setting camera setting needs to be correct to blur the background to giving full focus in subject.



    Lighting

Lighting is Most Important Factor in portrait photography. Few tips of Lighting can make portrait great.

  Lighting can make a portrait nice in soft and warm look. Umbrellas can be used to make flash soft in studio photography and in outdoor shooting we can use the reflective surfaces like foil cardboard's to reduces the shadow in portrait subject.


Rule of Thirds
Composing a photos using rule of third is proper way to positioning a subject, it refers a subject into portrait frame by equally dividing the frame with 3 horizontal and vertical lines as well. It makes nine boxes and need to keep eyes, head and shoulders in the top 3 boxes in the frame.




Subject
 Subject should be charming and her smile should be straight and not unnatural. 


Subjects should be sitting in an accepted position without looking uncomfortable or inflexible.




Props
Props can be used to capture a portrait such as phones, hats, books.



Students can use props for graduation photos, such as a cap and gown or diploma.
